Having raced BMX and hung out with the guys at Ratoath back in the 80's, when BMX started in Ireland, we were delighted to be able to help them build their new track, and watch the sport that feeds young talent into every other form of bike sport flourish and grow over the coming years.

On Saturday 29th September 2012, Irish men and women spent 6 days cycling from Paris to Nice aiming to raise over €1 million Euros for people with intellectual and physical disabilities. Harry's Bikes owner Conor O'Brien was one these irish cyclist.
Cyclists took on the challenging route from Paris to Nice, taking in some of the most spectacular sights of France along the way. Covering over 700kms – 115 mms per day on average – in 6 days, this challenge is not a race but a fun journey undertaken by a group of people of all ages, all backgrounds and all levels of cycling. The one thing they do have in common is the goal of raising as much money as possible to benefit these three worthy charities.
Participants in the challenge cover the cost of their entry fee so that all extra monies raised will go directly to the charities.
